A June to Lead on Before A July. A July Designed for Update.
This will serve as my debut blog. Hello, how do, and all that.

Spielberg and Lucas team up again to bring us Harrison Ford in classical fashion. I loved this movie. It was fast, progressive, left you unexpecting, made you agry with the enemy (a communist USSR woman who acted like something that I shouldn't mention.) This movie gets a 5 STAR rating. I'll buy this movie when it is released. I watched the previous three Indiana Jones Films just before seeing this, and it was all great. It really made my 4th of July weekend away from family easier. I won't say too much of the story because it would just give it away, but Jones is reunited with one of the former 'Jones Girls' (compareable to Bond girls) and deals with being forced to help the bad people yet once again. It is set in the 50's-60's era so I loved it right off. Even if you don't like that old type of stuff, it is still great. I was just letting you know so you can be prepared and not walk in thinking you are about to see 2008. You won't. My last comment about it: see it.
Now that we are past the 'to do's' I can get to the abrupt point.
The summer of 2008 opened for me in the most strange of fashions. I entered into a strange land, with a strange people, and began my higher education in a land of mountains.. and without corn, big time farmers, southern flags, etc. To say the least, I was subject to change. Culture shock was no factor, but I grew and developed. In the short time that I have been here, I have adjusted. I continue to see the movies that you all hear about, and I have my personal thoughts and veiws on them. I plan to throw this blogging page into a phase of evolution soon. It will eventually become a Vlog.
This is to say that instead of reading all of my posts, you'll be able to veiw video posts as well. I hope that small update pleases you. This blog doesn't have a large reader base as of yet. I will generate what I can, but if you really enjoy the writings, and such, then do your best to have others read and comment, because the larger base, the more posts.
I am by far no Shane Jensen, Kyle Sullivan, or M.J. and Shawn, but I hope to develope my own small group of readers. This isn't for my entertainment. It is for yours. Appreciate it for what it is. Sometimes I may commentate on daily life, but largely this will all be dedicated to social/political/popcultural/film purposes.
Let's start already;
PRE-Batman

It is 11 P.M. on Wednesday night. I will not be laying in my bed tonight. I will not be closing my eyes tonight. In fact, the next time I sleep, it will be tomorrow late afternoon. Some may ask why this is the case. Others already know, and not because I've told them, but because they know what Friday is. Do any of you recognize the title 'The Dark Knight' ? If you don't, please leave the blog site.. or at least this one. It is one of the biggest summer hits that is premeiring. Get ready. My purpose for being up tonight is this, or rather my plan is; At 6:30 A.M. I will dress for my classes at the college. I'll leave at just before 7 A.M. and be in class until later in the early afternoon. I'll spend a small amount of time planning out my Psych presentation over Religion and Psychology and the connection therein. After this, I will eat somewhere, go to a 5 P.M. Communications class, and then at 7 I'll come home and get into bed. At exactly 2 A.M. I will leave my Salt Lake City Apartment, and pick up a few people from The Plaza Hotel downtown. We will leave for the iMax theater in Sandy at the Jordan Commons. In this theater at exactly 3:15 A.M. the first iMax showing of 'The Dark Knight' will show. It is the only iMax theater in Utah that is playing the film in its format. I have tickets to the first showing. Afterwards I'll be back in bed of course, but later that day you can expect my reveiw. I'll try to record a little something to post (of me, not the movie you pirates).. I'm unsure if that will go through yet or not.. We'll see.
I'm tempted to split this blog by movie, but I won't. Just look under the headlines..
Meet Dave

Meet Dave is a film starring Eddie Murphy, and a few others who are sides to Murphy. You'll notice Elizabeth Banks, who plays opposite Murphy, if you have seen 'Knocked Up', 'Definitely Maybe', and the wonderful show 'Scrubs.' Now Eddie Murphy has done a few just okay movies for a while now, and since 'The Klumps' we haven't seen him awe us with anything. Meet Dave turns this around. This is Eddie Murphy back to classic goodness. The movie is funny, PG rated, and developing as a total storyline. The preveiws (as Shawn and M.J. noted) don't do the film justice at all. don't watch all preveiws people. They just distort/jack your outlook. Some movies have terrible preveiws, and this is one of those. Now that I think about it, an actor from The Office stars in this movie too.. Ed Helms who plays Andy Bernard from The Office is number 2 to Eddie Murphy. I highly suggest this movie, it was good, entertaining, and wasn't really boring at all. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. With my ratings, only the elite get 5's.. only movies that I will go out and buy when they are released get the tops.. Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium is a 5 star film by the way.
Hell Boy II: The Golden Army

This movie is a sequel to the first Hell Boy, and I must say that the first film was better. There was more development in the storyline, movement, and classic plots were all involved. This sequel reverted back to meeting old expectations of everyone thinking that sequels are bad. Lately that trend has cueved around to make the opposite true, but Hell Boy dissapointed. Other reveiwers like myself have stated the same thing.. It's just a bit on the boring side. The plot moves along, and there is a purpose, but there was no changing factors. It was based on one single problem with a few small side stories that were carried along with the main theme, but it was a 3 of 5 stars. The effects were good, the entrance of hell boy and his lady friend was a bit dramatic, but it was borderline just okay. See it if you want, but wait until it goes to redbox or something.
Indiana Jones And The Kingdom of The Crystal Skull
Spielberg and Lucas team up again to bring us Harrison Ford in classical fashion. I loved this movie. It was fast, progressive, left you unexpecting, made you agry with the enemy (a communist USSR woman who acted like something that I shouldn't mention.) This movie gets a 5 STAR rating. I'll buy this movie when it is released. I watched the previous three Indiana Jones Films just before seeing this, and it was all great. It really made my 4th of July weekend away from family easier. I was just letting you know so you can be prepared and not walk in thinking you are about to see 2008. You won't. My last comment about it: see it. _________________________
I have a few more movies to reveiw that I've seen in the past few weeks. EX: Emma Smith My Story, WALLE, Hancok, WANTED, and a few others. I also have a few movies to prohibit. I'd post them here, but then you'd have no updates to look for through the next week. Keep checking back. Leave feedback. Generate activity. Give me a reson to post more often.
